During the game, we saw many different types of performances. Some kids tried to act like ghosts, while others were really determined to be the best.
As time went by, our energy started to wane. But no one was stopping us from continuing. We kept dancing and singing until the lights went out. Then, we all piled onto the floor and looked around the room.
Surrounding each other with laughter and excitement, we felt very happy. Our friends nearby also commented on how fun this experience was.
Santa
Christmas day is special, but what's even more amazing is the family around us. They are always happy and full of joy.
We decided to go out for a day trip together. After checking all our plans, I packed up my stuff and went home early because we wanted to make sure everything was ready.
The next morning, we woke up at 6:00 am. We made breakfast quickly and went outside to play in the park. As we walked around, we saw many kids laughing and playing together. There was a group of friends hiding under a tree when we first started out.
After some time, I noticed that our toys were all mixed up on the ground. Some kids had their toys hidden behind branches or rocks. We didn't know what to do with them yet.
One afternoon, while sitting on the bench next to us, I saw something interesting. A small toy plane was flying down the road, its wings moving gently. It seemed like it wasn't stopping until we came near.
"We'll be there," I said to my brother. But his smile remained a bit faintly visible in our faces as we drove away.
The next morning, when we saw the toys on the ground, they were all neatly packed and ready for us. One of them was a toy car that we thought was missing from our house. We decided to take it outside and roll it around, hoping that it would belong to someone else.
After some time, we found it under a tree, and the little car rolled back into our front yard. It looked just like what we saw earlier—smaller, moving smoothly across the grass.
"You did it," I said when seeing the toy car. But my brother's eyes lit up as he looked at me.
This was one of the fun parts of Christmas. There were so many things happening around us—all connected in a beautiful way.
We thought about how to give our Santa friends some special treats. The box we opened had a red and yellow ribbon tied around it, symbolizing red and white lights.
"I'm going to put this on the tree," I said. "It will look so nice."
We carefully placed it under the tree as our gifts were starting to pile up. When the lights started dimming, one of us said, "Maybe we should have an extra set for our friends next year?"
We agreed and decided that each year, Santa would receive a special set of toys from our class.
The first year, Santa's gift was a red-and-yellow ribbon tied around a wooden box. It looked very pretty, but it wasn't too big to carry. I placed the box on my shelf as we went home.
We also packed some snacks in a small bag for our friends. They would have something fun to eat during our day trip.
Next day, after driving to school, I picked up some extra sandwiches and chips from the cafeteria. Santa's gift was ready!
